Welcome,
I'm Izabella.
All-Star / Champion-level West Coast Swing dancer and instructor. I help you build on solid technical foundations and find your own natural, confident way of moving.
Dance and sport have been part of my life since I was nine. After competitive ballroom dance, jazz, salsa, boogie-woogie, flamenco and several other movement styles, I found West Coast Swing – the dance in which technique, musicality and self-expression truly came together for me.
My journey ↓
From the foundations to the international dance floor.
Attending a sports-focused primary school gave me a strong foundation in movement, and later, through different dance styles, I learned how many different ways there are to connect with music and a partner.
In West Coast Swing I found a freedom that requires both technical precision and creativity. I competed nationally and internationally, taught in several European countries, and continued to develop professionally throughout.
I hold both a dance teacher diploma and a degree in economics. In teaching, I look for the same things I seek in my own development: clear structure, understandable connections and knowledge that students can truly make their own.
A journey driven forward by curiosity.
The major milestones are not isolated achievements: each one has shaped how I think about dance and teaching today.
West Coast Swing
I found a dance form where music, partner connection and creativity all have a place.
The first major international breakthrough
At a summer camp in France, I won the Jack & Jill and Pro-Am categories. The prize was a Liberty Swing workshop pass in the United States, where I also took first place in the Novice category.
Travel, competitions, teaching
I competed, studied and taught across Europe. I worked with Jang Widler and other international teachers while also teaching weekly classes and organizing community events in Hungary.
Champion level
UK Champs became one of the standout milestones of my competition career, and in 2018 I reached Champion level.
New focus
After taking 1st place in D-Town Swing Strictly, I increasingly shifted my focus from my own competition career to developing dancers and sharing knowledge.
Judge · teaching · community
I was invited to judge at Champion Jack & Jill level, taught intermediate and advanced classes, styling, musicality, competition-prep and communication workshops, and also became active as a DJ and organizer of weekly West Coast Swing events.
Selected professional achievements.
Competition results are not endpoints for me, but milestones in an ongoing learning process.
Reaching the highest competition level.
International result in the United States.
One of my most important competition results.
A placing achieved in a choreographed competition category.
One of the closing milestones of my competitive period.
Invitation to judge at Champion level.

Dance is also about people.
Today my main focus is helping my students become more independent, aware and confident dancers. Technique matters, but so do music, connection, self-expression and joy.
For me, a good class is clear, structured and personal. I do not want to teach templates, but tools that help you make your own decisions in dance.
Alongside dance, I also practice yoga, strength training, jazz and hip-hop. These forms of movement help me use my body more consciously and bring new perspectives into my teaching.
With awareness, but with ease.
Understand it, feel it, then make it your own.
